Dr. McCarville completed her certificate in Prosthodontics and earned her Masters Degree in Oral Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013. She also completed her certificate in Maxillofacial
Prosthodontics at UCLA in 2014. Dr. McCarville completed her American Prosthodontic Board Certification in 2014 and her recertification exam in 2022. She has earned her fellowship in both the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. She taught in the Prosthodontics Department at Creighton University School of Dentistry full-time from 2014-2021, as an Associate Professor. Dr. McCarville was awarded tenure by Creighton University in 2020. Dr. McCarville received many awards over the years from students at Creighton because of the courses she designed and taught, as well as her dedication and passion for teaching dentistry.

Dr. McCarville serves as the Nebraska Section President for the American College of Prosthodontics. She is the past president and vice president of the Creighton Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She is involved in several professional organizations including American
College of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, Academy of Osseointegration, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. 

Dr. McCarville is committed to providing service to others and has volunteered with various organizations such as the Sienna-Francis House, One World, Loloma Foundation, and Macy Outreach to provide dental care to underserved patients. She has been a professional mentor to dental students traveling to the Dominican Republic with Creighton’s ILAC program over 9 summers.  

Dr. McCarville has been practicing dentistry since 2005 but joined Millard Hills Dental Health Center in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of Prosthodontics, working with referring dentists and specialists in the surrounding area. Her passion is to help each patient achieve their dental goals and ideal smile.

In her time away from practicing prosthodontics, Dr. McCarville enjoys spending time with her husband,
BJ Dolton, daughter, Eloise, and extended family. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, golfing, biking, hiking, and any excuse to be active outside.
